University of Reims champagne Ardenne
The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) is a multidisciplinary training and research university. Welcoming and dynamic, it offers a favourable environment for studies, student life and research. In partnership with national research organisations and grandes écoles, it develops high-level research through major scientific projects, advanced technological means and partnerships with socio-economic actors. Through its scientific strategy, it supports the emergence of new themes to enable the discoveries and innovations of tomorrow.
The URCA is developing its scientific project around four major centres with strong scientific expertise:
- A multidisciplinary cluster in Agrosciences, Environment, Biotechnologies and Bioeconomics (AEBB) taking into account, in a territory with a strong agricultural and viticultural economy, the agriculture of the future;
- A Healthcare division, with scientific niches of excellence and a rich and varied medical and paramedical training offer;
- A Digital and Engineering Sciences (SNI) cluster around high-performance computing, industry 4.0, materials and technological transformations;
- A Human and Social Sciences Centre (SHS), with a new focus on the performing arts, federated by the creation of a Maison des Sciences Humaines (MSH)
The two units involved in the Inticosm project (ICMR, UMR CNRS 7312 ICMR and Unit MEDyC UMR CNRS 7369) belong to the AEBB and Health divisions.
